ℹ️Transaction Data Policy

Data Minimization Policy

Claudius operates on a data-minimization-first architecture.

Only the minimum transaction-related information required to:

  • Facilitate swaps

  • Monitor execution status

  • Resolve user support requests

is temporarily processed or stored.

Claudius does not build user profiles, track wallet behavior, or collect data unrelated to transaction execution and support.

Our infrastructure is designed to limit internal visibility and reduce the ability to reconstruct complete transaction histories from internal systems alone.

Transactional Data Retention

Retention Window

Limited transaction metadata may be retained for up to 72 hours for the sole purpose of:

  • Diagnosing failed or delayed swaps

  • Resolving user-initiated support requests

Automatic Data Purge

Once the retention window expires—or once an associated support case is resolved—stored transactional metadata is automatically deleted from operational systems.

Compliance-Driven Retention

Partner Compliance Requirements

Some third-party liquidity or exchange partners may be subject to short-term data retention obligations under applicable AML or regulatory frameworks.

In such cases:

  • Claudius retains only what is legally required

  • Retention is limited to the minimum duration mandated

  • No additional data is collected or stored beyond compliance scope

If Claudius receives a valid and lawful request from an authorized authority, relevant data may be preserved or disclosed in accordance with applicable law.

Controlled Internal Access

Access to transactional metadata is:

  • Restricted to authorized support personnel

  • Limited to active support cases

  • Logged and time-bound

No internal access exists outside operational necessity.

Website & Analytics Data

No Tracking or Fingerprinting

Claudius does not use tracking cookies, fingerprinting techniques, or cross-site tracking mechanisms.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

We collect aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics for the sole purpose of:

  • Improving system performance

  • Understanding feature usage at a high level

  • Product planning and reliability improvements

These analytics:

  • Do not include wallet addresses

  • Do not include transaction-level data

  • Cannot be linked to individual users or wallets

Our Privacy Commitment

Claudius is built around three principles:

  • Minimal data collection

  • Limited retention

  • Purpose-bound access

Privacy is treated as a system design constraint, not a marketing claim.
